Bob Weidman is the founder of Weidman Worldwide and CEO of Weidman Consulting, a company he founded in 2012 to provide mission-driven nonprofits with fundraising expertise, services and technical innovation to help them raise more money. Bob has more than 20 years' experience raising money for nonprofits, including as Director of Development for the BlueGreen Alliance in Minneapolis and as Chief Operating Officer of Aaron Consulting Company in New York City. He has also managed information systems for the California Appellate Project in San Francisco and the Spangenberg Group in Boston, and has been an instructor for the Masters in Advocacy and Political Leadership (MAPL) program at the University of Minnesota. Bob currently serves on the boards of Twin Cities nonprofits Heartland Democracy and American Civic Forum. He has a B.A. in Sociology from Brandeis University.

Kate Hoff has more than two decades of fundraising and nonprofit organization management experience. Most recently serving as the Vice President for Development of the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, Kate's professional and volunteer board service has exposed her to local food and farming, climate change, animal welfare, rural issues, environmental issues, agriculture, trade, health (especially as linked to food and climate), democracy and governance, international issues, fair trade, justice, human rights, advocacy, and the arts (visual and performing). Kate has also worked on board development and strategic planning.

Things you might not know about Kate: She is extremely good at sourcing things via the Internet, Craig’s List, and estate sales. She gets things done. She excels at finding typos, Internet stalking and discretion. She's traveled all over the planet. Kate has been called “concierge to the world,” and for good reason. She's an excellent matchmaker, researcher, connector and creative problem solver. She has particular talent in understanding and managing complex situations and relationships. She has many opinions about the state of philanthropy and its impact on progressive change making. Kate has a B.A. in Sociology from Augsburg College and a Masters in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management from Hamline University.

A lawyer by training, Corinne has more than 25 years’ experience in nonprofit leadership. She has worked in San Francisco, New York and Minneapolis for foundations, think tanks, advocacy organizations, grassroots groups and public interest law firms – serving in capacities from program officer to development director to vice president to executive director. She is an excellent writer and communicator, with extensive experience in all aspects of organizational leadership and management, board development, and fundraising. Most recently, she was Chief Operating Officer of the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, an internationalist think tank promoting fair and sustainable food, farm and trade policy. Corinne has a B.A. in English Literature from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Matthew Foster has been building websites, designing print pieces and helping nonprofits develop content and communications strategy for almost two decades. Matthew’s skills range from planning editorial calendars to configuring complex WordPress websites, from designing slick case statements to creating email newsletter templates.

Matthew has worked primarily with arts and public policy organizations. Some of his recent clients include Festival St-Ambroise Fringe de Montréal, Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals, Minnesota Fringe Festival, History Theatre, TakeAction Minnesota, Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, Main Street Project, Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement and On the Commons.

An artist in his own right, Matthew is a published playwright and has written, produced and directed over fifteen small, independent productions in the Twin Cities since 2000. In 2015, he turned his creative energy to the intersection of culture and policy and founded American Civic Forum, an organization that develops and studies ways the performing arts can be used to encourage civil literacy and social solidarity among Americans. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree focused on the cultural dimensions of democracy at the University of Minnesota. Matthew has a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Metropolitan State University.
